UDD: Medical Specialty in Traumatology

The main goal of this program is the student to graduate as an Orthopedists and Traumatology Surgery and he/she has the proper conditions to lead development and practice of this specialty on a national and international level and, eventually, if the students want to continue the academic career and become an investigator creating original research lines.

UVM: Intensive Spanish July

Four week intensive Spanish and Chilean Culture course that includes housing with a Chilean host family. Students will complete two courses in Grammar and Communicational & Cultural Spanish as well as fulfill 8 hours of volunteer work in order to use their Spanish and experience Chilean culture.

UVM: Human Rights in Latin America

A four week program where law students take an intensive faculty led course along with participating in conferences related to human rights and transitional justice in Chile. Students visit various historic and cultural points of interest during their program such as: the Memorial Museum, Villa Grimaldi, National Congress, Isla Negra, and tour a court house.

Each year, the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (UCSC) offers Spanish courses designed to meet the communicational needs of non-native speakers who wish to acquire the Spanish language, a necessary tool to effectively participate in a globalized world. Prospective students may be coming to Chile for business, work or to study and understand the language.

UVM: Current Events in Chile and Spanish Language

Students take an optional 45 hour Intensive Spanish course, along with participating in academic talks and panels about Human Rights, Education in Chile, and Chilean Literature. Students in this program also visited various cultural points of interest such as Isla Negra, Santiago, Villa Grimaldi, and participate in a local volunteer activity.
