UBO: Undergraduate Careers and Courses

Universidad Bernardo O’Higgins is a non-profit private law foundation. It is an accredited institution of higher education, founded in 1990. Located in the O’Higgins Park in the Commune of Santiago, its academic units are spread over two campuses in the same geographical area, which combines modern infrastructure with green areas. This university promotes research, creation, preservation and, the transmission of universal knowledge within the field of sciences and humanities.

Currently, UBO offers 31 undergraduate programs in the areas of Social Sciences, Law, Engineering, Health and, Education, and also offers graduate programs, several training programs and has nine Research Centers that focus primarily on the following areas: Bionanotechnology, History, Ethnology, Innovation and Technology, Social and Political Sciences, Sustainability and Environment.

UBO has more than 130 international agreements with 22 different countries, with which it develops academic mobility programs, among others. On the other hand, the programs of Linking with the Environment have allowed students greater interaction with the community and the academic and cultural activities of the neighborhoods.

Foreign students have the option to choose any program offered in both undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, UBO offers Spanish courses for foreigners at different levels and modalities.
