Universidad de los Andes

Located in the northeast side of Santiago de Chile, Universidad de Los Andes offers 30 undergraduate programs and 300+ graduate programs at its unique campus of Santiago de Chile, which combines modern infrastructure with green areas. Founded in 1989, this private nonprofit research institution emphasizes innovation, development and all-round education of the students, with a personal dedication. Students can take advantage of its 128 acre. They can find everything they need for learn, research, develop talents, practice sports and live extracurricular activities, from modern clinical and research laboratories, to soccer fields and an amphitheater for cultural performances, building a library and academic center.

The UANDES has more than 120 international agreements and offers exchange programs of one or two semesters, short programs, internships and clerkships, among other academic opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students as well as teachers. UANDES offers courses of Spanish as a Foreign Language, in order to provide international students, the necessary tools to interact and understand Chilean and Latin American culture. Following its international path, since July 2014 the University offers courses taught in English in different faculties, covering a variety of subjects such as business, marketing, leadership, politics, education, innovation, and mechanics among others.
